Once the cutting is done, glue up the tray – not the cloth – with PVA and position it at the margin marks as you did when marking up. Work the cloth down through the board.

The tray is very delicate and, if you put a great amount of pressure on a free standing wall, the walls will collapse. Work the corners as you move the tray along the cloth.

Glue up the bottom margins and turn in. Work them down with the box turned over.

With a sharp knife cut out the portion of the bottom margin pictured.

Turn the board-covering edge and cut along the base board to the wall.
